CEAPY produced a guidebook in Spanish, Maya, and English that describes the local geology, plants, animals, and people of the area in and around Reserva San Nicolás. You can view the full guidebook here.
Between 2009 and 2012, Stanford University student Erica Fernandez Zamora conducted research on Traditional Ecological Knowledge and land use change at Reserva San Nicolás. Her finished honors thesis can be viewed here.
